Stewart and Silva, 'The Dream Team' Reunited for a Double Header Weekend
Shane Stewart and Paul Silva are back in action! The super duo made their first appearance together in the Doyle's Harley Davidson #1 Car over the weekend in Elma, Washington for the Fred Brownfield Memorial Sprint Challenge Race at Grays Harbor Raceway. Stewart and Silva again claimed victory of the two day inaugural race, in fact, Stewart is the only driver to win the event sweeping both nights in 2007 also.

"I had so much fun this weekend!! The racing was awesome, my car was awesome and Silva is awesome. Its great knowing that every time I get in this car its going to be fast and I can drive any line on the track so I can do what I need to win. My car was GREAT all weekend! I have to thank Mike and Janie Doyle for putting me back in this car. Silva and I work really good together and we can wait till next weekend so we can do it all over again" stated Stewart.

The Doyle's Harley Davidson car will finish out the season on the West Coast. The team will race the two day event in Hanford, CA next weekend.

Shane Stewart & Roth Motorsports Part Ways
Chico Gold Cup was the last weekend for the Shane Stewart and Roth Motorsports team to be paired up during the 2008 season. The decision was made by Dennis Roth to "Take a Leave of Absence from the World of Outlaw Tour for now," thus leaving Stewart without a ride for the ramaining 16 races in the Advance World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for the 2008 season. Stewart was 11th in Championship Points over all.
Shane will race the 57x of Paul Silva this weekend in California, but is currently working on a ride for the remainder of the season.

Skagit Speedway Update
Jason Solwold first competed at Skagit Speedway in 1994 and since that time, has turned more laps at the high-banked three-tenths-mile that he can remember, racking up over 40 wins, along with three championships. He put all of this experience to good use on Saturday night as the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series made their annual stop at the track, which was delayed a day by rain, leading all 30 laps to pick up his second career A-Feature victory with the series in the opener of the N C Machinery Caterpillar Clash.

Castrol Raceway Update
For many drivers, having to change an engine prior to an Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Feature event would be means for concern, especially if they were scheduled to start on the pole position of the main event, but not for Jac Haudenschild. The veteran driver has one of the hardest working teams in the pit area led by crew chief Leonard Lee, and after winning the Crane Cams Dash to earn the top starting spot for the main event on Friday night in the second annual Oil City Cup Presented by Boston Pizza at Castrol Raceway, Haudenschild and his team were forced to change engines after losing a cylinder.

A Welcome Return: Shane Stewart Looks to Continue Hot Steak at Grays Harbor Raceway

Elma, WA— August 31, 2008— Shane Stewart may not have been competing full-time with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series last season, but he truly was an “Outlaw.” He raced anywhere, anytime, and won in every car that he climbed behind the wheel of from coast-to-coast. One of his biggest wins of the 2007 season came in the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series return to Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington, as he scored what could be considered an “upset” victory, as he was one of just four drivers not competing full-time with the series to visit Victory Lane over the course of the year.
